Yes, I agree that the message behind the crime should not be punished. It is just horrifying to hurt or kill someone over greed as it is to hurt someone and kill someone over hatred. I recommend J. Otmer's ADLAND. I think he will be glad to make himself available for book discussion of his book. Let me know if you want me to ask him and also please let me know how I should approach him with liason between booktalk and the author.

I suspect the last two posts, the excitement had gotten the best of you two authors. I don't want to confront you or anything but when authors recommend their own books, that behavior alienates rather than attracts potiental readers. It would be best if you can limit yourselves to the Fiction Sugges...

I think it's neat how viewers could try and read the page flipping scene. http://www.youtube.com/watc...

I felt the movie scene was masterfully done for the scene that the author purposely left out of the book and relies on the reader's imagina...

That's a terrific posting. That topic had been going around for awhile recently with the tread of writers making trailers about books. Myself, I was really ignorant of the process of book trailers when I started out. For my book, which should remain nameless, I came up with a concept of a mini film ...
