Gasp! That was weird and slightly scary...

I think that is a good starting point. Why don't we start there?

There is also a House of Leaves discussion going on. I think that book is also the best horror story I ever read and also Let the Right One In is very excellent.

Was anyone confused by my response here? First I said I want to read The Lottery and in the next sentence I say I've already read it!

:?

So what goes here? For some reason I used to think The Lottery was a novel and my brain did a weird deja vu thing where I believed once again that The Lottery was a novel! Well, it's not. I proved that to myself a year or two ago when I read The Lottery and Other Stories.

So carry on, please, with the discussion and I'll take a break.

P.S. If you haven't read The Lottery, it's very freaky.

Well, let's start with the Lottery. We could call our little section or discussion group: The Dark Side. I will read it tonight.

I have never read anything by Lovecraft.

Does this make me a freak of nature or what?

Would love to try one.

Love horror.

Read the story it wasn't bad, even though it made me think of a Twilight Zone episode.

One of my favorite horror books is Necroscope by Brian Lumley
