i think so, cause sometimes on the news there are stories about adults kidnapping children and eatting them. but there arent any stories like that recently, i think.

I am currently reading the book. I really like how mysterious it is. Although, like one of my classmates has metioned, it can be really frustrating because one of the narrators are unknown.

i think the title has a much more deeper meaning to it. It kind of reminds me of the society we live in today.

I think Dark is a motif, because the book so far has a really dark feeling to it.

The purpose there might be for Marlow's long wait to get his steamboat fixed and on the river is to explore and observe what is going on and what's happening. This symbolizes mystery because Marlow still doesn't really know what's going on around him and this is a chance to find out.
