Re: 'Dubliners' - A Good Start on James Joyce

'Dubliners' - A Good Start on James Joyce
One of Ireland’s most famous and remarkable novelists and poets is James Joyce. He was an innovator of fiction writing and is known for his extensive as well as unprecedented use of stream of consciousness to tell his stories. Monumental works like ‘Ulysses’ and ‘Finnegans Wake’, that are considered...

Re: Katherine Mansfield's Short Stories
I heard of Katherine Mansfield, but never got round to reading any of her stories, yet. Good to know that she's still remembered, read and appreciated.

Re: Where do you get your books?
I go to local bookshops and order a book only if I feel that it's a read that I long for desperately. As a matter of fact, my way of choosing books requires touching them, leafing them, smelling them, caressing them, opening them, reading a few passages - I'm a very intuitive person

Re: What does your BookTalk.org username mean?
As for me, I sort of created a web identity when I launched my blog (http://edith-lagraziana.blogspot.com) last December. Since then I'm using LaGraziana for all kinds of memberships and also the detail of a peacock butterfly as an avatar. Actually I picked the butterfly because its German name cont...

Re: Israel or Palestine, Who's Right?
I don't think that it's really a question of right or wrong. There are two sides with very different points of view that got caught in a spiral of growing hatred and distrust... and nobody is ready to step out and start from zero, it seems. Both sides made mistakes and huge ones, but then I'm no exp...
