One of my favorite books but I won't be able to participate in the discussion. Been years since I read it, and I don't know that I'll have the time now to re-read. But everyone should read this novel. It's had such an impact on the modern world, and you can SEE large parts of the dystopia it describes actually in place now. A great book, good choice.

I appreciate that endorsement, KindaSkolarly. I've heard great things about the book too.

Looks like I'll be joining in, with thanks for the pdf, but my heart is with the non-fiction this time round.

Sure, always welcome the opportunity to reread a book that made a big impression on me way back when. I'll be interested to see how I'll appraise its literary qualities, with the passage of time.

Count me in; I will reread this fabulous book by mid-week - a refresher before posting my words.

I just read the first four chapters of the book, so I guess I'll take part in the discussion. The way it’s divvied into three parts suits me.
Translations shouldn’t be an issue, all should be the same, right? Written in English, printed in English. The PDF copy I’m reading can be found at https://www.globalgreyebooks.com/. I believe the woman who runs the site and puts the books together lives in London, Airstrip One, Oceania. You can right-click and save the pdf to your hard drive. She thanked me for the donation I sent after downloading some books. Apparently you can also get books in epub (Kindle) versions from her.
