I was just wondering: does anyone else think this book also smacks of redemption? That seems about what everyone is trying to do but time is keeping them from it. Or does it help in some cases? Or am I barking up the wrong tree entirely?

Yes I have just re-read trhe Great Rock and Roll Pauses. Have to find the links to the music first. But was a very difficult chapter for me to read. Most could only be read with a magnifying glass, the text to speech did not work. Am thinking of complaining to Amazon.

I was interested to read in Evolutionary Psychology that ‘Analyses of Shakespeare’s plays have revealed that his handling of both the size and connectedness of the community on stage mirrors very closely the size of typical human groups. The practical limits seem to be set around fifteen individuals (mirroring the size of natural sympathy groups…’ Perhaps this is why some of us feel so ‘disconnected’ from the book. There are just too many characters –Bennie, Sasha, Alex, Rebecca, Christopher, La Belle, Scotty, Alice,,Jocelyn, Rhea, Rolph, Charlene, Lou, Lulu, Stephanie, Kitty Jackson, Jules Jones, Drew, Rob, Ted, Alison Blake …
