As I guess I started this mess, I will be the first to contribute. Here is my entry.

The last man on Earth sat in a room and heard the door lock. The doctor (who had locked the door), turned to him and said, “Mr. Baxter, as the last man on Earth, your sperm is too valuable to waste on acts of random sex. It will be collected daily and used to artificially inseminate selected women, thus ensuring the continuation of the human race.” She actually smiled as she said, “To that end, and for your own safety, I am afaid you must remain in this room for the rest of your life.” Baxter sat frozen in silent horror; his deepest fantasy had just become his worst nightmare.

Quote:
The last man on Earth sat in a room and heard the door lock. 'Now, think about this', the angel-messenger-of-the-Lord said, 'We now have the technology to reproduce the human race, without the intervention of a mere man, so what are you good for? Define yourself.'

'Well,' said the man, 'I enjoy more than anything, the act of recreating our species. It is actually a very good basis for the beginning of a life-long relationship. A life-long relationship seems to be the raison d'etre of the female of our species. So, we mere mortals, fulfull one another in this way.'

'If you let me out....I would try and do it properly....I would try and go forth and multiply in the correct manner...'said the last man.

So the angel opened the door of the Ark..... Again......

I can’t remember writing my post on this thread. I wonder why it fizzled out so quickly.

The last man on Earth sat in a room and heard the door lock. "Good boy Leo" he praised as he thought to himself, I trained that dog well, just hope his food doesn't run out. He noticed something on the wall as he sat on his cockroach infested sofa, squinting at it while the flickering light did no justice to his vision. His frustration suddenly got the best of him as he took out the useless bulb and grabbed his only working flashlight, pointing it at what looked to be a piece of paper. Only then did he realize he was staring at a picture of what looked to be the back of his figure and Leo by his side. The hair on his neck stood up as he ripped the picture off the wall, heard the door unlock and realized, he was not alone.
