Sometimes I think I'm that dead parrot.Could the Python group exist again today? Was it a product of it's time only? Would the group have been as funny say 30 years prior, or in twenty years from now? Sometimes humor is contextual, and some things I thought hilarious years ago now, when seen again, don't quite hit me the same way. Some of the older humor is now funny only in a nostalgic kind of way.But there is nothing funnier that that dead parrot scene. That's because nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.Marti in Mexico

Some of the humour of that era is frightening. I was listening to the radio predecessor of Python the other day. What was it called again? The somethings....Meh, anyway, one of the sketches involved the ridiculous concept of bottling and selling water.I'm The French. Let us agree, there is no one single reality. Not upon this stage, not in this world, all is in the mind... imagination is the only truth. Because it cannot be contradicted except by other imaginations - Richard MathesonThere are no conclusive indications by which waking life can be distinguished from sleep - Rene Descartes
