My last book was "The March," which is our December and January fiction selection, but today I'll be buying "Value and Virtue in a Godless Universe."

I actually went out and bought myself some christmas presents, ie. books.1 & 2. Fight Club and Choke by Chuck Palahniuk3. American Psycho by Brett Easton Ellis4. Reefer Madness - This was actually inspired by a conversation I had with someone about buying and selling on the black market. It was interesting, and it occured to me that I had never read Reefer Madness, and I went out and picked it up.5. Confessions of a B Movie Actor - The AutoBio of Bruce Campbell. Boom stick to you all who have no idea who Bruce is!-Antoinette There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am not there.

let us know how the bruce campbell auto bio is when you are done! i am really hoping for a DVD release of the greatest TV show ever made with exception of ST: TNG... the adventures of brisco county jr. best cheesey line in a movie ever:"gimme some sugar, baby."aside, from "value and virtue" for the Q1 reading, i also bought freethinkers by jacoby which was the previous quarter's selection that i missed out on. looks like an excellent read! i also just finished the last book in the erevis cale triology from the forgotten realms series called "twilight falling." best realms novel since the 5th book of the songs and swords series by elaine cunningham.

The Dennett, mentioned above. It was kinda fun ordering a book pre-release. If you make yourself really small, you can externalize virtually everything. Daniel Dennett, 1984

The NY Times gave Dennett's new book a pretty scathing review.
