Honestly I just try to remember the page, forget, re-read a bunch of passages until something jogs my memory. - Gustavo Woltmann

Anything that works.

I have used the "Last Line" bookmark. Great for leaving off in the middle of a section or chapter. But I prefer not to spend money on bookmarks.

Also used to use book darts to save passages without writing in margins or notes.

Not sure if either of these are still on the market. Let's me see..

I learned something new. I had to look them up.

When it comes to bookmarks, I've used napkins, business cards, junk mail, etc. Seldom have I used an actual bookmark.

Post Re: What do you use as a bookmark?
I have the bad habit of flipping the current read over and laying it down on the nearest flat surface, usually the top of my sofa. There has been at times a dozen or more books splayed there. The downside being that they get stacked up and this creates permanent creases in the book spines.
