No MadArchitect, though I will try and track it down. From what I can google the book was only published in 1939 - so there must be a copy in one of the bigger libraries.

I happened to notice a new Penguin edition of another one of Ernst Junger's books, "Storm of Steel", at the bookstore the other night, so there's a chance they might also reissue "On the Marble Cliffs".

Probably Ben-Hur approximately fifty times. Closely followed by Jane Eyre, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Lewis's Space Trilogy at about 25-30 times each.So...I'm new around here...is it ok if I start by bragging?

I've recently started re-reading E.M.W. Tillyard's "The Elizabethan World Picture". I'm mining it for fresh insights. Not a bad idea when you've done a lot of reading in the meantime, as it allows you to connect dots that you didn't know about previously.

TheBookNerd- Welcome! It is ok to start by bragging! I would suggest that you also start a thread in our "Member Introductions and Journals" forum.

I think reading it in Chinese should count for five or six times, so let's say you've read it seven, just to be on the safe side.
