Re: What are your favorite games?
I've always enjoyed trivia games, sports/dance games on the Wii, Euchre (card game I became addicted to over the past year), poker, chess...pretty much anything that allows me to be competitive.

I've tried lots of boxes of chocolates and have liked them too!Chris OConnor wrote:I tried "Box of Chocolates" and liked it.
I love Nile Tiles! I'm only three hundred points away from beating Camacho!
Agreed! I love the way this game saves your progress, you just pick up on the level you left off at, no need to start over.Chris OConnor wrote:"Wake up the Box" is awesome!

Chris and Suzanne,
You're making me hungry with the talk of chocolates. What a great name for a game.

Re: What are your favorite games?
Hello,
I've been into loads of sports from a very early age. Ice skating from 18 months old. I remember Papa telling me, years later, where he had to go for the purchase of custom-made boots for my skates. It was eye opening! He worked at the local arena, so he took me along.
That was for the winter months. Then, for summer, we'd be into the pool from mid-June to mid-September.
Cycling, fishing were part for par. However, our favourite daughter/father sport was and is to this day, Archery!
Our bows and arrows were handmade by Papa. My very first one at age 4, was made of bamboo and slightly smaller than my full-height at the time. My second one, round age 8, was in oak.
I'd accompanied him during his work clearing off pests animals on farmers' lands. Sadly, the year he died, Mother send all to charity. I lost my bows, arrows as well as all our fishing tackle, rods and reels. Very sad!
I'm still into Archery and belong to our local club. Daughter bought me a beautiful recurve made of Red Oak, for my birthday last year. It's amazingly fast. This one at 60" is a takedown recurve.
This year it'll officially be 60 years I'm into Archery. Since Papa died, had to wait four years before I could get a new one. It disappeared during a house move. My previous one, which is up on the wall now, was used by my husband as well.
Strangely, he liked the one he'd bought for himself but he always preferred using mine. I thought both our children and husband. Son was getting really good but he took ill suddenly 5 days after his birthday and passed away three months later.
Can't wait for our sessions to begin later on this month.
