Looking for help on buying Edgar Allan Poe books

Unread post

:hmm: I am looking to add to my collection and find a Edgar Allan Poe book or two. Not looking for a 5 figure 1st edition, but nothing looking for a worthless reprint either.

What sites are my best bet for buying?

Check out this leather bound edition of collected works. Other publishers have similar fancy editions.

Barnes & Noble complete works, leather bound.

Also suggest checking bookstores in Baltimore MD, one of his home towns...

Hi, I would try Amazon, they have some decently priced Edgar Allan Poe books last time I checked...Ebay might also be good but again, it is probable that the books you find there may be in worse condition.
In terms of a non-physical copy and reading online, you could try Google Books (I found a free copy of The Complete Poetical Works Of Edgar Allan Poe) on there, which is linked below:

Hope this helps!

I'm puzzled about what you're looking for. You asked for sites where you can buy a Poe book and it was given to you.

What do you mean about early 1900s? Poe died in 1849. Are you saying you want a book of his stuff that was published possibly in the early 1900s? I'm sure such a thing would be expensive.

In my opinion, just get a book of his entire literary output. That's what I read and it was good.
