1. The Jakarta Method: genuinely helped me cement some beliefs of mine.
2. Killing Hope: it's a book written by a former cia. It made me question so much.
3. Right Wing Women by Andrea Dworkin: another one that helped shape my political beliefs. Most of her work is essential, except for scapegoat and the final chapter of Woman Hating.
4. Why Does He Do That: essential work to understand abusers.

I think a good read for anyone would be The Almanack of Ravikant. Really enjoyed reading it, and I make an effort to read it atleast once a year. It's a really cool book on practical advice on wealth, success, and just living an overall great life. It's also an easy read, and really makes you rethink how to approach happiness.
