Ch. 6: Refuting God

Rather than refuting God, it seems to me that Dan is refuting the bible as the literal word of God. Proving bible passages about God's nature to be erroneous does not prove that no god exists, it proves that the people who wrote it were wrong or untruthful or mislead. It was the way they perceived god or wanted others to perceive god.

The bible is the clay mold that most people use to believe in God. If and once removed, they still have God. The question is, should the existence of God be questioned since the mold originally used is faulty? I think so.

Yes. Definitely. I think it is very important to stay humble as well and realize that we will probably never know anything for sure.
