Relieved to see that you don't hold with the outright lies told about Soros and the Nazis. This incident or incidents from his boyhood are a thin basis for moral condemnation, though. In fact, isn't it moral posturing for us to say from our standpoint that Soros is blameworthy? He was doing as directed by his father, who needed to find a way to keep his family from being murdered. If the barely teenage Soros had refused to accompany his "godfather" on his looting missions, his cover would have been blown and he likely would have been killed. There is furthermore no evidence that the he did anything but observe. He says he didn't do anything in the 60 Minutes interview that seems to have created the outrage from people who despise what the billionaire does today. Yet the outrage appears based on Soros not saying he deeply regrets his involvement. What else could he have done in the situation? What would you or I have done?

Even had he been an active participant with the burden of moral responsibility, the equivalence with Hitler would be ridiculous. As the facts stand, it's more than ridiculous.

Well, you said that Soros did that one bad thing. My point is that it could be said Hitler did just one bad thing as well--he dragged the world into WW2.

I could go on and on with these stories. They're everywhere. Soros and the Gates people are behind many of them. Soros' malevolence is well documented, so I'll look around for more articles about the Gates' activities.

I'm uninformed about George Soros, without a basis to judge him one way or the other. All I was looking for was acknowledgement that the Nazi collaboration charges are lies. Anyone deserves to be defended against such smears. I do the same for Donald Trump in regard to the unproven allegations in the Steele dossier.

I'm afraid to ask where you're going with this vaccine information. Do you think all vaccines must be discontinued immediately?

The rejection of authorities is an interesting recent phenomenon. Not sure how it came about. Is it the final stage of rejection of authority from the 60s? We know that the president has made disdain for experts almost fashionable. In his case, authority in so many areas rests with him, but his is a particularly egocentric version. Anti-vaxxers have no medical or scientific authority at all they can invoke to prove their side, but this doesn't deter them. The poster here who claimed evolution is a hoax doesn't even invoke God, as creationists do. He needs no substitute authority.

It seems a strange way to operate.

Discontinue vaccines? Only the ones that murder and sterilize. I posted links to two stories. One is about how Baxter Pharmaceutical tried to distribute 70 liters of live bird flu through Eastern Europe. The other piece describes surreptitious sterilization using vaccines. These things HAPPENED, and in light of that, I think that you guys should now have to prove that vaccines are safe. If you believe the govt and big pharma are colluding to protect your health, then you'll need to prove your conspiracy theory.

George Soros is not and never has been a Nazi. This is a case where a person is so despised that anything that might be thrown up against him with the flimsiest of connections, is accepted as truth because of course he would have done all of that--he's evil.

I'm familiar with the anti-vax movement only as far as the autism fear. I didn't realize there is more to it than that. The link with autism was disproved, which is what I was thinking of when I said anti-vaxxers have no authority to appeal to. The very idea of immunizing through vaccines--is its medical validity being challenged? There again, there is no authority that will support such a challenge.

I guess I do know people who refuse to get flu shots because they believe the vaccine gives them flu. I'm no medical expert, so unless I see an authority saying otherwise, my best bet is to continue getting flu shots. We find it hard to live without accepting the judgments of authorities--people who know a lot more about some areas than we do. To become an authority requires a certain level of rigorous training, education, and experience. Fortunately, it's not hard to separate the real from the fake authorities. I speculate that the internet has been a vector that has greatly increased the reach of fake authorities.

Well, I'm no authority on vaccines, just skeptical. I've read too many stories about major and minor vaccine abuses. And for some reason big government wants to force us to take vaccines. Facebook (tool of govt) has now banned the sharing of vaccine inserts--the documentation that tells you what's in your shot. Without that info you can't make an informed decision:

That article talks about the usual, run-of-the-mill additives in vaccines. It doesn't address the little extras that companies put in to cause pandemics, sterilize us and such.

Sterilization is the special love of Bill and Melinda Gates. They also push the climate change stuff (caused by solar activity, but we're so stoopid and narcissistic that we're supposed to think it's "manmade"). Gates has a "new" idea to spray particulate matter into the atmosphere to help slow global warming:

The particulate matter in those trails is primarily aluminum. Decades of that crap sifting down on us. Governments usually deny the trails exist. But now Bill Gates and Harvard are going to try something "new," spray the atmosphere with reflective material to deal with global warming.

What's galling is that Gates and his ilk are brazen killers, yet they act like their behavior is just fine. Killing is killing, so why do they get a free pass when they do it? Monsters are taking advantage of us. Don't go along with them.

I suspect the vapor trails aren't in the right place in the atmosphere to have any effect on reducing GW. Gates is only reflecting scientific opinion when he advocates climate engineering. I'm guessing you don't believe there is a threat at all, but for some of those who do, stopping warming at its source (the sun) is the only way we're going to avoid catastrophe by the time of the new century, at the latest. It's pretty much certain that we can't hold our emissions down enough to meet the goal of the Paris accord.

You won't be pleased to be told that you sound like a leftist on occasion, as with the vaccination scaring. Anti-vaccination is a place where right and left seem to meet.
