Trump has been acting even weirder than he usually does lately. In France, he was a bizarre, hot, little mess. He sulked by himself and wouldn't join other leaders for a walk to the Arc de Triomphe. He wouldn't show at a cemetery to commemorate the dead of WW1. He said it was rain when there was, in fact, no rain. Then he blamed French security of keeping him from his appointments. But it seemed to me this was more than just him being an asshole to the European leaders even though he is. Something personal seemed to be eating him. It was strange how sulky he was. The media attributed this sulkiness to the midterm losses and the upcoming Mueller report. White House aides said Trump walks around the White House biting people's heads off who get in his way. Besides firing Sessions, he's reportedly already in the process of the getting rid of Kirstjen Neilson. Sarah Sanders will leave at the end of the year and Trump is apparently ready to jettison Kelly.

And while Mr. You're Fired is too cowardly to fire any of these people to their faces, Melania showed no such difficulties when she ousted Mira Ricardel, Deputy National Security Advisor. This is utterly bizarre. There is talk that Ricardel is always stepping on the toes of HOTUS's staff and seemingly taking shots at HOTUS herself. But that doesn't seem like something that would cause Melania to erupt in rage and dismiss her. It seems to me that something else is going on.

When I couple the unusually sulky Donny with the unusually enraged Melania, it seems to me that Ricardel is more than an annoying staffer to Mrs. Trump. It seems to me, Melania found out this woman has slept with her husband. That would seem to explain everything now, wouldn't it? Donald's inexplicable retreating from the world when we normally can't get 30 seconds of relief from him thrusting himself into the spotlight saying the most outrageous things he can come up with in order to keep making the headlines because he so craves the attention. Melania's usual very quiet, even reclusive behavior--even when her husband's affairs with Stormy Daniels and Karen MacDougall came to light. Now she's in the spotlight making a scene. It's as though the two switched bodies.

What caused this all the sudden? The midterms? Not hardly. No, something personal has happened and Melania is now enraged and Trump is shrinking from her sight--and as a consequence--the public's sight. When men deeply displease their wives, they tend to get out of sight quickly and stay that way for a while. Trump is certainly acting like that. Meanwhile, his wife suddenly goes very publicly on the warpath--now something happened between the two of them and it wasn't pretty--and it involved Mira Ricardel. Melania has thrown her out but I doubt she is done. Imagine your wife catches you in bed with another woman, freaks out, beats up the woman and throws her out by her hair. But that was just the preliminary. NOW she turns to you--her face like a grimacing Death's Head with fiercely glowing eyes!! I think that's where we are in this drama. She is now turning to cheating Donny and all hell is about to break loose.

I could be wrong but it certainly looks like something really BAD just happened between the two of them--really BAD!

Intriguing assessment of the potential dynamics in the White House, DB Roy. Overall I have a sense of humiliation with Trump as our leader. Hardly a day goes by where he doesn't say or do something that makes me want to hide my face in humiliation at being under his leadership.

One thing that bothers be so much is that I have many friends that support Trump (most don't) and I cannot voice my opinion about Trump and his decisions and behavior without causing serious tension with these friends. On Facebook, back when Trump was running for office and then immediately after he took office, I would periodically called into question Trump's actions and several people let me know that I am "driving a wedge" between myself and my Trump supporting friends. Jesus. Why can't we talk about this stuff without everyone taking it personally? Why is this stuff taboo to discuss?

Mebbe the Donald tried that approach with Melania. You know, "Why can't we just discuss these things, like adults? Without getting all upset. First off, I never even looked at her. I never noticed she was hot. Second, can I help it if she goes around saying, 'Best sex I ever had'? Some people just exaggerate."

To disagree, question, or attack a person's politics is the equivalent of attacking their very identity. Much like religion.
That's what happens when politics replaces religion. And that is precisely what is happening in America.

We were better off when religion was dominant and kings ruled by divine right.

noun
1. the doctrine that the right of rule derives directly from God, not from the consent of the people.

I'll bet after 2020, when Donny is gone, we're going to hear from Secret Service people about all the YUGE fights Trump and Melania had night after night.

What? You mean, you DON'T believe that democratic voters were voting then going into the parking lot and putting on different clothes and then going back in and voting again???

Well, I doubt people would change clothes and go back into the same polling location. But I can see some people attempting to vote at different locations. Then again I am shocked regularly with all things political.

I don't doubt it happens sometimes, but in most polling locations, you have to sign in when you go to vote. At that point, they check your name to show that you've already voted. You can't come back later and vote again because you have already been flagged. This actually happened to me once when I was living in Florida a few years back. I signed in and then saw the huge line and left. When I came back later to vote, they wouldn't let me because my name had already been checked off. I was rather miffed about it at the time, but I see now that it's a simple precaution that probably works well.

I suspect she never raises her voice.

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
