AN UNUSUAL POSTMAN

An unusual postman is a short novel.
It is in between a novel and a shortstory.
It deals with the influence of chilhood on adult life in comical way.

It is both my third writing and my very first self-translation in English.

Incipit : At six o'clock in the morning, several knocks at my door woke me up with a start. With my pyjama top unbuttoned, mismatched bottoms, messy hair and sleep-glued eyes, I sprang from my bed. Clinging to the banister, I walked downstairs softly. I was frightened. As the knocking increased and became louder - whoever it was knocking on and on - I feared that someone was coming to break bad news to me.

An exerpt : From my upstairs hiding place, I could hear my grandmother summing up money coming in and my grandfather subtracting money coming out.
