Recently self-published my first novella. Just trying to get the word out about it. Also looking for any constructive criticism, thoughts and advice.

In the Year 2098, the world is in chaos. After years of neglect to the environment, the world’s only hope is the Intrepid; a generation ship that will take 300 people six light years into space to the Planet Atlas. On the morning of its launch, Asher Trimbal, the designer of the Intrepid and his 10 year old daughter Emily prepare to board the Intrepid, but Asher knows a dark secret, forcing him to make an impossible decision. Quickly into the 600-year long trip, the ship’s passengers are informed that the Intrepid has received a transmission from Earth informing them that a meteor impact on Earth is imminent; the Intrepid must make it to Atlas or humankind faces extinction.
800 years later, the planet Atlas, controlled by a governing body called 'The Citadel', humankind is flourishing, but all talk of Earth is outlawed. Rene Trimbal a Captain for the Starfleet and her crew launch on the Genesis, their destination a planet called Enotria. During their flight, while in cyro-sleep something goes horribly wrong and the ships navigation is knocked out. When Captain Rene Trimbal comes to, she finds herself on a strange planet and comes to learn of all the lies and why talk of Earth is outlawed.
