I want to introduce myself and my books.

Hello All,

I'm new to BookTalk. It's nice to join you all. What can I say about myself? I'm British (and proud of it, as you would expect a Brit to be). Like so many people out there, I had a burning ambition to write a book. The idea for the book just wouldn't go away. I started to write not knowing if I had what it took to complete a novel. I surprised myself. It's amazing what you can achieve when you just don't give up. I've now written two books. I write mystery/thriller books. I've discovered through the plotting/writing process that I have a devious mind (and I love it).

In the strictest Confidence is my first book. Here's what it's about:

Counsellor Francesca 'Frankie' Wilson, divorced mother of two, lands her dream job at ASF Technologies. Is she as lucky as she seems? From the very first day things start happening to her—bad things! Who is responsible and why? Could it be one of her clients?

Stephen Lime, who appears to hate women and is keeping a secret.

Isabelle Toms, a profoundly deaf tester, who feels lonely and isolated, within an organisation where no one else can use sign language.

Verity Froom, who dresses like a woman far beyond her years, suffers from ill health, but who refuses to visit a doctor.

David Shaw, who's young and handsome, but who has just lost his wife to a hit and run driver, and is devastated by grief.

Or is someone else responsible?

My second book is the sequel to the first and is called In the Absence of a Body. I'll tell you about it in another post.
