Lefty's Tavernacle is about a tavern that doubles as the town church

Unread post

If you love stories containing colorful characters, lots of humor, adventure, and danger, you'll enjoy Lefty's Tavernacle. The only bar in a rough Oregon fishing village, Lefty's is transformed into the local church on Sunday mornings. The 20 stories, filled with adventure, humor, and pathos, are glued together by the dream of the congregation to build their own church and escape holding services in Lefty's Tavern, a "den of iniquity" as fiesty Annie Pritchard calls it. Will a hurricane and a wrecked lumber ship bring them what they need? Quirky characters like Blue-Footed Bobby, African Violet, the Singing Logger, and two troublemaking town drunks create havoc and surprises as they pop up in various stories.

This is one of four works of fiction by Robert Sigsby. Visit him on Amazon.com or other online booksellers.
