Greetings fellow authors,

I wanted to share that my novel, When the Eye Sees Itself, discussed in other posts in this forum, won First Runner-Up for General Fiction at the Los Angeles Book Festival. A list of winners has been posted here: http://losangelesbookfestival.com/.

I'm a new author who did a lot of work on his first novel and I'm excited it has won a prize. I tossed it in the ring with no expectations and am grateful for how it was received.

So go enter your books! There are lots of award contests out there.
