Ortiz has Floyd against the ropes, no bid deal. Floyd has dealt with these kinds of moves his whole career. Floyd is clearly ahead on the score cards, not working that hard to stay ahead of Ortiz. Business as usual for Floyd.

Ortiz can't get to Floyd on the ropes. He's very frustrated. Floyd is obviously not finding it that hard to avoid his punches. Ortiz is angry, launches a missile headbutt.

Full-on, head-first dive into Floyd's face. Causes floyd to bite through his lip, maybe one of the only cuts he's ever gotten. Floyd is a master of avoiding punishment. Floyd is reeling from the blatant cheating tactics and Ortiz takes the opportunity to try to land some punches before the ref steps in.

Ref is deducting a point, you can see Floyd fuming in the corner. I am cursing Ortiz as a dirty cheating bastard. Floyd puts on his "naw, it's cool man!" face. I can tell he is lying. Ortiz tries to apologise for being a d-bag. Too late now, he knows he shouldn't have done that, feels like an ass in front of the world. It's fine.

Floyd's "It's cool man" face still hanging by a push pin. Half-hearted embrace to prove everything is cool, Floyd drills Ortiz with a left hook and strait right while Ortiz's hands are by his sides. Clearly thinking he was still participating in the "i'm sorry for being a jackass a minute ago" apology dance.

Floyd was done with that about half a second after he realized you made him bite through his lip.

oh MAN! did i laugh. That was awesome.

Floyd is going to catch hell for that. He is generally speaking an asshole. No question. But if he were here right now, i would give him a high five. That was awesome.

Then, to make things even better. Old as dirt Larry Merchant is interviewing Floyd after the fight. He won't let the blatant cheap shot retribution go. Floyd isn't having that either. Tells Larry Merchant that HBO should fire him, and that he "doesn't know shit about boxing."

Then the crown jewel. Larry Merchant, old as the freaking sands of time, gets in Floyd's face. An undefeated pro fighter with over 40 wins and no losses, and tells him that if Larry were 50 years younger, he would kick Floyd's ass!

WOW THAT IS AWESOME!

Larry does say later that he doesn't think he could have beat him 50 years ago either, but he would have given it a shot.
