Suzanne asked:

Did the spokesman really say that?
Yeah, I expect so, they treat terrorism with the contempt it deserves in Rochdale!!

What amused me most is that this clip was sent to me from a friend in Canada.

Now I know nothing much happens in Canada, but you'd think they could do their own scathing.

I can only repeat what's been posted already:

 :laugh2:

This reminds me of the bit in Mel Brooks' Dracula: Dead and Loving It, where, when Renfield tells the villagers he is going to visit Dracula, he says, "I am scheduled to meet Count Dracula" (pronouncing schedule as SHEDuled instead of SKEDuled), the villagers respond with shock and fear:

Villager 1: Dracula!?
Villager 2: Dracula?!
Vilager 3: Dracula?!
Villager 4: Shedule?

It's obviously much more hilarious to watch, so I'm including a clip from YouTube here. The clip includes the entire opening sequence, but the scene I'm referring to starts at about 4 minutes in. Enjoy. :)
