Take a gander at the below puzzle entitled "Be a Square" and try to solve it. This puzzle was at the Tampa, Florida MOSI, or the Museum of Science and Industry, and even the employee in that area of the museum had no clue on how to solve it.
For the heck of it I am including a 2nd puzzle entitled "Easy Math" and what I believe is the solution. Do you think I got the puzzle correct or am I not looking at it properly?
The last pic is of my little boy and his grandfather waiting for a wax butterfly toy to be molded.

Re: A puzzle that has me puzzled...
This is hard to represent without having a drawing to post, maybe it doesn't work.
I'm thinking about using the 3-d nature of the chips so that the edge of one coin overlaps into two sides of the square.
I tried to represent that with the "/" marks.
So the square is as tight as it can be with 3 on a side with the remaining chips overlapping into two sides a piece.

Is this the virtue of faith? To never change your mind: especially when you should?
Young Earth Creationists take offense at the idea that we have a common heritage with other animals. Why is being the descendant of a mud golem any better?

I think Johnson1010 has it.

Look at it this way, where the four corners each have two coins stacked.
