I wanted to delete my comments and the whole topic, but was not allowed to do it. So I'm changing the comments

Can you let us know some of the things you've done to get the word out?

I was unable to delete my comments, so I'm editing them out, if that's the only way I can do it.

From a fellow Lithuanian, I can say it's appreciated.

I went the more expensive advertising routes - total waste of money. I spent $2,700 to get $400 in sales

Book Buzz was effective. I'm about to do that again for the Intermission series I just released.

I went to Bostwick and got a LOT of good reviews. Reviews help a lot.

For a while I was with a small publisher, but that was a complete disaster. The publisher was a semi-ok author who put zero money into the books she took on, and used them for credibility to promote her own books (which didn't work). I never got a dime from them for book sales in a year.

I also do a lot of foot work. I'm thinking next year I'm going to be able to afford to take a few months off and tour. We'll see how that goes

Good luck to you!
