American Horror Story

Unread post

Does any one else watch this? I just picked up season one and started watching it and I'm hooked! I love a good haunted house story. :D Anyway, I find this show so appealing to me. Like for some strange reason I would love to live in this house with all these ghost. I don't know why. Maybe there's still a bit of the little goth girl from high school still in me. There is one character in particular I find oddly alluring. Tate, the blond teenage ghost boy.
If you haven't watched the show yet don't read this:
Spoiler
I know that Tate liked killed a bunch of people and raped the mother of the girl he's suppose to be in love with (to be fair to him he wasn't in love with the girl yet but still) but I still find him attractive. It's like yeah, he's a psycho but he's obviously very vulnerable and I believe that some where in all the crazy there is a gentle soul. I love his relationship with Violet too. They are so cute together. Okay... maybe I'm just a little nuts.

I just recently started watching this, it's really good. I watched the whole first season in about a week. About to start season 2.

I finished the first season last night. I'm going to start season 2 tonight. I can't believe it took me this long to start watching the show, it really is right up my alley. I'm not really happy with how they ended season 1. To leave unanswered questions when you're moving on to a completely different storyline really annoys me. Lol.

Season 2 is an entirely different storyline?

Yes. That's what I heard. It takes place in an Asylum in a different time period with completely new characters (some of the same actors though).

I was hooked on season one too and I enjoyed it. Season two however is just in your face disturbing. I wonder if the writing staff changed. It's kinda fun to spot the actors who reapear from season one but it doesn't have the same feel. Season one was a ghost story, season two seems to be developing into a shock story. But I keep watching.

Suzanne I've only watched the first 2 episodes but it does have that feel to it. I don't know if the writing staff is different. This is typical Ryan Murphy. He loves to shake-up the formulas on his shows. Just look at season 1 of Glee compared to the current season and if you watch Nip/Tuck it changes formulas as well. Hopefully this season is just an experimental one for AHS and they decide to go back to a good ghost story in season 3... assuming there is a season 3.

Interesting, I watched the first episode of season 2 so far. I kind of miss the haunted house, but I like some of the new characters.

I like some of the new characters too. This season isn't too bad so far but I don't think it's as good as the first season.
