New HBO movie soon!?! ...called "Wounded Knee?"

Unread post

I'm hearing gossip about a new HBO movie that is supposed to come out soon based on Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee. Does anyone know if this will be a series like Sopranos or Rome or Entourage? Will this movie be available in the theaters or just on HBO? No matter what the case I'm interested.

Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee was one of my favorite BookTalk selections, even though our discussion was meager. We were a brand new community with few members. If anyone can get additional information about the release date for this upcoming movie maybe we can pull this forum out of the archives and get some additional discussion flowing. Would you guys be interested in that??

I'll pay attention to HBO and try to figure out the exact day and time when the show will air. Maybe we can pull this forum out of the archives while that show is on.

What was it like being an extra for this HBO special? What role did you play?

I found out when...

I wasn't impressed. HBO usually puts out such quality programming that I was really expecting this one to knock my socks off. Very little character development and massive chunks of history skipped right over. Yes, they had their hands full with this one, but still they really fell short.
