Was anyone moved, upon the conclusion of this book, to actually pay more attention to environmental concerns? I am interested in what I can do to make some kind of difference. I may start composting more, looking for the labels on timber and products at the local store, and get more involved in local politics.Anyone else?Mr. P. A good discussion, but not great. The Board being hacked and unavailable right at the height of the discussion was impossible to overcome.Never regained the momentum that had built up at that point. The greatest dispointment for me, so far, is the fact that there has been no closure, no attempt to sum up, and no real consensus as to the quality of Diamond's thesis. There is still time to work out some of these things, but not much incentive now.I also had visions of tieing in GGS with Collapse, to have a better understanding of Diamond's motives and his world view.Ah, well, onward and upward!!
