How should we organize this discussion?

Does anyone have their book yet? I don't see a table of contents so I am at a loss for how to create chapter threads. Some advice would be appreciated.

There are fourteen chapters of an average of fifteen pages each. I finished chapter one last night. The book is a perfectly standard beginning. We have a protagonist and we know the protagonist's goal. We have antagonists who are hindering her already. There is not much dialog yet. There are touches here and there of such art that I find myself on occasion stepping out of the story to admire the way the author expresses something. This is okay, in my opinion, if it doesn't happen too often, or in the suspenseful parts. I think this novel so far could be used to teach a class on how to write a novel. It follows every imaginable guideline, while still having creative flare and its own individual voice.
