What fiction book should we read next?
We're reading and discussing To Kill a Mockingbird in November, December and January. What fiction book should we read next?

Thank you for that suggestion, odane10. I'm amazed at the fact that The Silent Patient has almost 32,000 reviews.

I recently read "All the Things I Never Told You" [edit: "Everything I Never Told You" by Celeste Ng] and liked it very much. I would enjoy chatting about it.
I have also heard great things about "The Sense of an Ending" and "Reading Lolita in Tehran".

How about "The Lost and Found Bookshop" by Susan Wiggs. It is on my list of 'intend to read' books.

Travels with Charley in Search of America by Steinbeck. I think this would be such a fun book club book .

Good book. Love those traveling stories. You might like Education of a Wandering Man by Louis L'Amour. It's a memoir about his writing life but a good read.PoppyLove wrote:Travels with Charley in Search of America by Steinbeck. I think this would be such a fun book club book .

I was wondering, Robert, if one of these days you could engage with us on a novel about Australia. I realize you might be too busy, but something to keep in mind? We should try to reciprocate your interest in the U.S.Robert Tulip wrote:Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck

But for now I'll go with James Baldwin's "Another Country."
