We have two books with 7 votes each. There is some overlap between the two books, in other words, some people voted for both books. So some of the people that voted for both books could easily decide to read and discuss only one of two books. This would be reasonable and we could not be surprised or disappointed in this decision. Then again, we might see a few of these people joining in both book discussions.

Here are the poll results:

BOOk 2 - Hobbes: Leviathan: Revised student edition by Thomas Hobbes
CWT36, DWill, Dave The Marine, President Camacho, Sal_McCoy, franic, heledd

BOOK 16 - The Structure of Scientific Revolutions by Thomas S. Kuhn
CWT36, DWill, Robert Tulip, Sal_McCoy, franic, geo, wilde

A few of these voters are brand new to the community and we'll be taking a gamble with counting their votes.
  1. franic has 1 post on the forums and he/she voted for both books. Will this person participate? Seeing as a vote was cast for both books we have little to lose.
  2. Dave the Marine has 15 posts but appears to be jumping right into forum discussions.
The rest of the voters have proven track records so we're bound to have some great discussions.

I'm going to create a discussion forum for both of these books right now. The goal is to have these two discussions start January 1st. :)

On the next poll we can go back to these books and grab some that are still of interest. Call it recycling if you will.
