I am not a financial advisor. I don’t have a degree in business, nor do I possess a special talent. They say you become a product of the environment in which you grow up. What I am is a keen observer of things around me while growing up.

My mother is a housewife who takes care of 3 children, me, my older brother, and younger sister. Her only full-time job is the one she does at home: washing dishes, taking care of us, doing the laundry etc. I’ve often wondered where our income came from, how both my parents don’t work, what puts food on our table.

With no money coming in, bills still had to be paid, and my mom turned to what she hoped was her way to support the family. In the kitchen, she’s always around a laptop buying and selling stocks. Successful? Sure – those who don’t lose money in the market is already considered successful for most people.

One day, I asked if I could see what she was doing. The more she showed me stock investing on her laptop, the more I developed a passion for it. It was her method that was so simple, yet, so unbelievably effective that I began making money myself in the market.

Challenging? Yes! Rewarding? You bet.

No income comes without a little blood, sweat, and tears. Together investing with mom from just 2006-2012, (whom by the way, has no more than a high school diploma and common sense) we were able to make over 1000% return in less than 6 years I’ve watched her. Yes, that’s through the 2008 subprime mortgage crash. That’s a return that even a Wall Street professional can respect! Mom earns enough to provide for the family through stock investing now - and she’s doing it all in front of 1 laptop, in the kitchen, with no fancy dual monitors and elaborate charts on the walls.

Her method can be learned by anybody, at any age, regardless of financial knowledge or experience. Adversity is everywhere in the market, your fortune floating up and down like the waves of the ocean every second of every day, but she overcomes this nerve-racking hardship through premeditated discipline; because that is all that matters about making money in stocks she says. With an initial investment of $40,000 back in 2006 using the same 'recipe', today we turned that into over $600,000 in the account and well on our way to a million and beyond.

I share with you in my book this EXACT recipe we use to create our wealth in stocks - Wall Street Kitchen: The Recipe Behind a Housewife's 1000% Stock Return
