How To Be Perfectly Average is a much needed guide on living your life according to the wishes of your parents and your average friends.

I decided to write this book because no one ever talks about average people. Us plain old average people, or as I call us, averageites (see what I did there?). It’s always about the exceptional people who are doing great (or terrible) things. Sometimes we do get some screen time in a movie…but it’s always the first half when the character is pretty ordinary, and then some life event triggers something in them or forces them to become exceptional. Whatever. It’s time we get some attention too. After all – 98% of the population is just like us. Average.

This post made me smile. I happen to specialize in averageness and mediocrity.
