New book on Darwin and evolution

Unread post

Dear readers
I wrote this book, because it is the book I think is missing if you want to understand what evolution is, who Darwin was and why this is relevant to all humans. Books on evolution tend to be dry and scholarly; I think it is an entertaining story and should be told like that. The book has been published and reprinted several times in Denmark, and is now available in English as well.
The book is available from Amazon in Kindle format : https://www.amazon.com/Modest-Genius-Da ... est+genius
and in paperback: https://www.amazon.com/Modest-Genius-Da ... est+genius

I a m looking forward to comments and discussions.

Hello Hanne, thank you very much for your kind offer to discuss your book at Booktalk.org. I think that booktalk is an ideal venue for a polite and informative discussion of the themes you raise. I am particularly interested in the causal philosophy of evolution, how Darwin's insight reflects his "modest genius" (as you put it) intuition of the way things must be, due to the simple physical logic of causation, as an amazingly elegant explanation of reality with application to all complex systems.

I would like to read your book. Popular science, such as books by Richard Dawkins and Stephen Jay Gould and Carl Sagan and James Gleick and Dava Sobel, is a great way to gain understanding of major ideas that shape our world.
