I've yet to see the movie, "The Martian," but have heard good things about it from my brother and a few friends. Have you guys seen it yet?

I tend to wait till movies hit NetFlix before I watch them. This one is many many months from going on NetFlix.

I saw the movie right before I got the book from you. It was a good movie, very entertaining. I don't know if I would enjoy it as much after reading the book though.

Yeah, i saw the movie first...but i don't think I'll bother reading the book, as it seems like i know everything now! But i liked the movie, even if it was pretty long.

I read the book and then watched the movie afterwards. I really enjoyed them both in separate ways. I think the book was funnier but the movie did a really good job and helped with the landscape. While I was reading I had a difficult time picturing the scenery and some of the scense. For example the scene he was making oxygen I had a difficult time imagining but seeing it in the movie was great.

I saw the film on a long haul flight and it kept me engrossed. I did find parts of it far fetched but I did care about the survival of the main character. Do others agree?
