The Dream

Thanks to BookTalk for turning me on to this marvelous book. it pulled me in from the first line and kept me sitting in my car to listen to the end last night. What to make of the dream? Very disturbing. It's like Christopher sees us as evil aliens, or maybe, himself as an invading alien. I know Autistic/Aspergers' affect is different, but everyone dies? If you make yourself really small, you can externalize virtually everything. Daniel Dennett, 1984

This would have been one of those moments where you just kinda gape at somebody and back away slowly... But seeing as it's a book, it's a liberty one can't take elsewise you won't know how it ends. 0_0Nevertheless - very disturbing...Perhaps because... Christopher is so appalled at the death of the dog in the beginning but okay with killing off the rest of the human species.
