So we've got this schizophrenic with a known suicide obsession, and for some reason neither her family nor therapists nor friends bother to go to her house to check up on her when their calls go unanswered for almost two weeks? That is probably the craziest thing I've read in this whole book. I don't like holes in logic--someone please tell me I have my chronology messed up and Abalyn really only waited a day and a half to go check up on Imp. Certainly Dr. Ogilvy and Aunt Elaine did more than just leave messages on the answering machine.
In this chapter the book has now taken a swerve into detective mystery genre: Can Imp solve the secret of her madness? What does Dr. Ogilvy know? What did the July Eva make Imp do? What is the mystery of "7"?
