"The pictures we made on various parts of the two pages over the past year-tree, horse, Satan, Death, dog and woman...."

These are the objects on the final picture along with the murderer in the middle where the sultan should be. They are also chapters in the book who share their stories. Two other drawings share their perspectives; the two dervishes and the Gold coin but don't appear in the final picture. Does anyone have any ideas about the significance of the final picture in relation to the above mentioned characters? Are we supposed to read the picture as representation(Frank style), the traditional way the miniaturists read illustrations, or a mixture of both?
