Everybody benefits by knowing who else is planning to read and discuss the book so please make a brief post here checking in and letting us know of your intention to join the The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion book discussion. Thank you!

I won't have much time before Christmas, but I will be rereading "The Righteous Mind" and participating when I can.

I will try to re-read and participate, but if the discussion dies out, I will slowly back away from the corpse

This is what usually happens to me. It's not easy to stop between chapters and discuss some of the concepts. Usually I'm inclined to just go on reading.

Peeking ahead though, I see Haidt uses the elephant-rider metaphor, as he does in The Happiness Hypothesis. This book might be a good opportunity to talk about critical thinking and Buddhism or whatever.

To LeVv, I doubt I'll start reading until after Christmas as well. Currently reading David Copperfield.
