Hope it's ok to bump this...

Though many chapters were excellent, oh heck, they all were. I think this one hit home perhaps the hardest. Just think. Total War. Mankind has never known such a thing. I don't have the book in front of me at the moment, but the long quote from the General describing what he meant by Total War was chilling, and beautifully done.
Think what it would take to overcome such an enemy.
