I was in a bar (as ususal) yesterday writing notes on the latest chapter. And someone said - 'don't you ever take time off?' I said 'This IS my time off'

Studying literature is a joy isn't it? I suppose we should take time off and listen to some trad jazz instead.

I can't ever restrain myself, I always jump in with both feet to stand up for what I believe in. It is part of the dynamics of life, I suppose; when one stops caring, one might as well curl up and die.
