Arguably: Essays by contrarian Christopher Hitchens should make for a lively discussion.

Re: looking forward to the discussion
I agree completely. The cool thing about this book is that anyone can participate with minimal obligation. There are about 100 articles and each is a stand-alone article. While I hope many people enjoy the book enough to read the whole thing I also hope some of the people with less interest join in on some of the individual article discussions, even if they haven't read the book or articles at all.

I'm looking forward to this also. I downloaded by Kindle copy through BookTalk on Amazon. I see Robert has jumped right in with the Animal Farm essay.

I'll definitely be joining. I read the Animal Farm article and it got me very interested. I got a pretty good deal on the book, too!

Curses on you Booktalk. Here I was trying to cool off my internet thing, and you have to pick a book of essays by one of the most interesting minds active today. May a dozen brown marmorated stinkbugs alight on your open book as you unwittingly slam it shut.
