Anyone reading/read "Homo Deus" by Yuval Noah Harari?

Unread post

I checked out the book but didn't get around to starting it until now, when it's due back at the library. Harari wrote Sapiens a couple of years ago. I haven't read that, either. Homo Deus is subtitled "A Brief History of Tomorrow." Harai's claim is that, with our ability to master nature having been largely achieved, our next project will be to become like gods (deus). We will achieve this goal through "biological engineering, cyborg engineering, and the engineering of non-organic beings."
