Other titles by Chris Hedges

Unread post

I wondered about Chris Hedges' political slant, because this type of culture critique can come either from the right or left. From his other titles on Amazon, I gather that he is center-left. He is a wide-ranging writer who has a divinity degree from Harvard and has written three books about religion (or the lack of it). His critical looks at the "new atheists" are the only of his books not well received by the Amazon reviewers. His book on the 10 Commandments states the importance to us of the 10 Commandments, but it sounds like an interesting treatment that uses the Polish filmmaker Cieslowski's (not correct sp.) "The Decalogue" as an inspiration.

I would characterize his political slant as progressive or far left.

He has a regular column at http://www.truthdig.com/report/category/hedges
