Live Author Chat 9:00 pm Eastern Dr. Frans de Waal

Unread post

Live Author Chat 9:00 pm Eastern, Thursday, July 30, 2009 with Dr. Frans de Waal

Please order your books from Amazon.com as Barnes & Noble and Border's Books might not have Primates and Philosophers in stock.

To maximize your enjoyment and ability to interact with Dr. de Waal order your book and start reading now. Write down questions for our author as you progress through the book so that when the chat day comes we have some quality questions ready.

It would also be advisable to start attending some of the weekly Thursday night chats. The time is always 9:00 pm Eastern, or 6:00 pm Pacific. By learning to use the chat room in our casual chat sessions you'll be prepared and comfortable for when we host author chats.

Way to go Chris!
I've always found it rather exciting to remember that there is a difference between what we experience and what we think it means.

Yes, this is good news. Frans de Waal is also considering a 2nd live chat session to discuss a brand new book he is releasing around September 22, 2009 called "The Age of Empathy." We might put that on the menu as a FACTS selection.

Hello Chris:

I don't think they make a smiley for the excitement I'm feeling. But here in NJ we do the happy, happy, joy, joy dance!

Didn't know the history or even that there was a FACTS section - but I'm in. I will definitely be reading his new book when it comes out.

Thanks for the info Chris.

The chat had very few people involved and I'd be lying if I didn't say I was disappointed. Clearly author chats aren't that exciting to the majority of members. Thank you to Saffron, Interbane, DWill, Geo, Suzanne E. Smith for participating.
