Hello, I have joined booktalk today. I’m just a reader of literature.

I want to ask where should I ask this question: “Why Robert Browning called Shelley as Sun-treader in his poem Pauline” ? Which forum will be suitable for it?

I'd post that question in the A Passion for Poetry forum. :)

Okay, I shall do the same. I was just wondering if this site is suitable for those kind of questions? I mean comprehension of poetries and sometimes proses? Is understanding literature one of the aims of the site?

Yes, that's one of our objectives here. I'm sure you will reach other poetry lovers in that forum.

Great that you're interested so deeply in that era of English poetry. I don't have any insight to offer now, though. It's been a long while since I read either of those writers. I guess I wasn't as fond of Shelley as of Browning. I haven't read "Pauline," but I liked very much "My Last Duchess," "Caliban upon Setebos," and "Childe Roland."

Maybe you could give us your initial thoughts on your question, in the poetry forum.
