Is banning books still effective in the age of internet?

I chanced upon this article recently on 7 banned books

Is banning books still effective in the age of internet?
Wizard of oz, a children’s book that is banned can be found readily on Youtube.
And here’s the catch.
Some of them don’t even look dangerous.
Sometimes, I wonder what our world has come into.

Well enough of me ranting…
Let me know what you think. Is banning books still relevant?

Do you have any idea why Wizard of Oz is banned? I have read about 8 books in that series and cannot fathom why anyone would want those classics banned.

The depiction of "good" witches led it to being banned. "Good" witches simply don't exist. This is absolutely absurd.
