Kindle ebooks from Amazon

I own a Kindle and I read all my books on it. I wonder if anyone knows of a group who can lend or borrow books with other Kindle users. I tried to get information about a program like this from Amazon and that didn't go so well. If you don't know of a group like this do you have any ideas about how we could start one up?
