Hi all, I'm carol from the UK. It's the first time I've done anything like this so looking forward to getting into discussions with you about different texts. I love reading and do as much as my work/family/life balancing will allow.
I read a variety of texts but do tend to stick around similar authors such as Jodi Picoult, Jojo Moyes, Milly Johnson, Dorothy Koomson, and a whole range like that. I also like stories with a twist, a bit of a detective theme. I am looking to extend my reading range and have the opportunity to discuss texts with people who read a similar range.
I am also interested in healthy lifestyles and healthy minds so any texts around that interest me.
I also like books written about the Victorian times and similar. I have read a lot of Catherine Cookson, Valerie Wood (she is from the same town as I am), Annie Murray and Kitty Neale.

I found BookTalk.org online as I was looking at joining a book club but needed to find something which would fit into my already hectic life.
